The Duke of Berkshire
The Berkshire is a British pig with a long history. Threatened with extinction, the breed was brought to the Netherlands by vet Kees Scheepens in 1976. With a lot of love and personal care, he and his family tend the black, purebred animals on their farm, ‘De Walnoot en Wilg’, in North Brabant.

Firstly, you compile a summary of want you want to offset, based on business travel and energy use details from the previous calendar year. Based on these details, we compile an obligation-free quotation and proposal of cooperation. Subsequently, based on your final wishes, we can come to an agreement. From then on, your annual business emissions will be offset to the corresponding price: which can be seen by using our Emissions Calculator. Your particular amount of CO2 emissions are then offset by the purchase of carbon credits from diverse forestry projects (more information can be found under Trees for Travel). You will receive an annual Offset Statement, indicating the amount and location of CO2 absorption, that can be used in your environmental and/or sustainability reports.
